Recently the American Council of Exercise did a study on the effects kettlebells can have on your workout. They took random participants and had them perform snatches to a cadence over a 20 minutes period. After taking some measurements it was discovered the participants burned an average of 20 calories per minute of exercise. This equates to a whopping 400 calories over that 20 minutes period.
