What is TNT?  It's a functional fitness studio that specializes in kettlebell training, yet has many other training modalities.  You can simply come for OPEN GYM hours to do what you please, you can take CLASSES that are treated like semi-personal training sessions, or you can do 1-1 PERSONAL TRAINING.

   This is not a new concept to working out, kettlebells have been around for centuries. They have been used by many due to their  proven ability to train strength through both stability and endurance. Kettlebell training develops functional strength (or real, usable strength) through exercises that involve momentum, coordination, and multiple muscles and joints. These exercises will also engage smaller stabilizer muscles which are ingnored by today's more modern machine based exercises.  One exercise in particular, kettlebell snatching, was studied by the American Council on Exercise, and was proven to burn more calories than any other form of exercise.  Ironically, kettlebells were also used by 'old time' strong men who were looking for a training style that would help them perform their feats of strength.

Training the way we do at TNT engages almost all of your muscles in a single exercise, instead of focusing on one muscle group with each exercise like a typical machine. One of the sayings around here is "Don't use machines, be one!"  This type of training is completely safe under the instruction of a Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor, RKC, and can be performed by anyone of any age and skill level.  So, whether you're an professional athlete, or a grandparent in your 70's, kettlebell training with a TNT instructor will help you become the fittest person you can be.
